Vulkan 1.3 General Release Driver Downloads Vulkan 1.
What I did was backup the drivers used by XP SP1 and then use it on SP2 and above and its working great. On 13 it initially didn't work either, but on a fully updated Mint 13 system you should be able to install nvidia-96 from Additional Drivers in the menu. This page provides links to both Vulkan 1.3 general release drivers, and developer beta drivers. Unlike Windows, Nvidia drivers for Linux desktops are quite hard to come by, and installing the latest drivers on your Linux desktop can be quite an arduous process. *I've managed to install the right driver for my card (nvidia proprietary 96) in Ubuntu, (YAY!) white screen is gone BUT BLACK SCREEN is there >.< *Before I tried Linux Mint on my desktop, I have installed Ubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu and I also have that white screen bug without nomodeset. *When I checked Monitor Preferences it prints: It boots with a splash screen and GUI, but since I blocked nouveau, then I am using xvesa, right? So I followed second step, but Driver Manager doesn't detect any proprietary drivers, so how will I install it?Īdditional information that might help you guys: So I removed nomodeset parameter and put nouveau.blacklist=1. I tried following this: /viewtopic.php?f=49&t=54312#p312819 (post # 4) - I know this is for Mint9 KDE. Code: Select all 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation NV11 (rev b2)
